Our Tiny Dancers class is a great place to start for our smallest dancers! We teach both ballet and jazz movements, giving each dancer a chance to find their groove.
With a focus on participation and fun, alongside basic technique, each dancer can expand their abilities through movement and dance.
Lyrical: we have a bit of fun in lyrical class, dancing to music the dancers choose. Expanding teamwork and choreography skills, while exploring and interpreting the emotions of the pieces.
Stretch & Strengthen: Flexibility and strength are super important for all styles of dance. Dancers need to be stretching (and practicing!) at home, but these classes help dancers understand how to stretch safely and beneficially.
Our adult ballet class is open level barre and centre work, and has a permanent place in our timetable.
Judgement free zone! Wear what you're comfortable in, and dance shoes or socks are fine. Come to dance for fun, fitness and most importantly, for you.
Performing is a huge part of dancing, and often something our dancers look forward to the most.
Costumes, makeup, and dancing onstage is exciting and fun. We love giving our dancers the opportunity to perform every year.
Private lessons for competition choreography and practice are available for our enrolled dancers.
Examinations at BHVDA are a positive and encouraging experience. Everyone can learn, dance and achieve.
We follow the ATOD syllabi and have yearly exam sessions that our dancers work towards.
We encourage examinations has it keeps us working towards a standard, better ourselves as dancers, teachers, and as a team.
